The Engineering Delivery Partner (EDP) is a collaboration between the Defence Equipment & Support (DE&S) Engineering Function and the Aurora Engineering Partnership. QinetiQ, Atkins (a member of SNC-Lavalin Group) and BMT joined forces to form the Aurora Engineering Partnership to support the DE&S change agenda and drive benefits through the delivery of engineering services. This Partnership brings together proven defence sector experience, and pulls on a broader technological, engineering and safety expertise through a Provider Network of niche and specialist providers.
In July 2018 the Aurora Engineering Partnership released the first call for expressions of interest, receiving over three hundred responses. This was subsequently followed by a comprehensive pre-qualification process which culminated in the appointment of over 120 organisations covering 196 distinct capabilities creating the Aurora Provider Network. The Aurora Engineering Partnership operates a controlled Provider Network, with refresh points at a maximum of two years which will allow new entrants to apply for entry into the Provider Network or existing providers to amend the scope of their capabilities.
We are now refreshing the Provider Network and you can register your formal interest in being involved by clicking the ‘Proceed’ below and completing the registration form. We will then keep you up to date with next steps including the Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) which will be available midJuly along with a short supporting webinar.
